Dorothy K. Foster is the owner of the Seattle and Bainbridge Island law firm of Foster Law Group, PLLC, where she practices in the areas of estate planning and nonprofit tax-exempt organizations. She holds a master's degree in English from Washington State University and a master's degree in Linguistics from the University of Colorado. She graduated with distinction from the University of Nebraska School of Law where she was a Regents Law Scholar, a member of the Order of the Coif and Research Editor of the Nebraska Law Review. She is former Trustee of the King County Bar Foundation and Adjunct Professor of the University Washington School of Law, Graduate Tax Program. Ms. Foster is a certified mediator and the President of the Seattle Branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Dorothy Foster is actively involved in the community, frequently writing and speaking to groups about estate planning and nonprofit organizations, as well as providing pro bono services to charitable, educational, and civic organizations.
