About

Audranne Mixon is an associate attorney with Foster Law Group, PLLC.  Prior to moving to the Seattle area (Kitsap County), Audranne practiced as a litigator in Texas and Massachusetts, handling matters involving contract, intellectual property, employment, product disparagement, and securities law.  She is licensed to practice before the U.S. Tax Court and has litigated in that forum.  One of her favorite experiences was being seconded to the Assistant District Attorneys office for Middlesex District Court in Massachusetts during which she tried misdemeanor criminal cases to bench and jury.

Currently, Audrannes practice focuses on wills, trusts and estates.  She works with individuals and couples to draft foundational estate planning documents, including wills and revocable living trusts, powers of attorney for financial and health care decision making, and beneficiary designations for retirement assets and life insurance.  She has experience helping clients with estate planning for assets located inside and outside of Washington and the U.S.; the establishment of public charities and private foundations; and lifetime gifting to dynasty trusts, life insurance trusts and qualified personal residence trusts.  She also works with beneficiaries and trustees to understand their rights and obligations under the terms of existing trust agreements.

Audranne also works with personal representatives (executors) and trustees to smooth the process of administering a decedents estate.  She handles the drafting and filing of probate court pleadings, notices of trust administration, and asset transfer documentation.  Her goal is to anticipate and alleviate the very natural concerns that arise during the course of estate administration.

Audranne attended the University of Texas at Austin where she received a BA in Liberal Arts.  She holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from Yale Law School, where she served as an editor of the Yale Law Journal.  She also holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Washington School of Law, with a specialty in taxation.

Audrannes very special name (created by her mother) is pronounced AHH dran as in AudreyAnne.
